Mutiara is a leading law practitioner with over 16 years of experiences dealing with commercial and banking & finance issues related to infrastructure, public private partnerships (PPP) and general investment. She obtained her law degree from University of Indonesia. She later completed her post-graduate study in Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), the Netherlands. She is a licensed advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). She is also a board member of the Capital Market’s Legal Consultants Association (HKHPM).
Prior to joining AYMP, she was a partner in a long-established law firm in Indonesia. Asialaw Leading Lawyers–2013 edition recognized her as one of the most “highly acclaimed legal experts in the Asia-Pacific region”. While in Asialaw Profiles 2012 issue she is recognized as one of the “recommended individuals in Project Finance”. In recent year, she is also identified as amongst “50 lawyers who have shown exceptional dedication in legal sector” by The Asia Business Law Journal's Future Legal Leaders 2023 edition.
Her extensive experience revolves around advising and assisting clients throughout all stages of projects, from preparation and construction to operational phase. She is well-versed in government policies, project structuring, tendering processes, and public-private partnerships, holding full CP3P certification from APMG International (part of joint initiative of ADB, EBRD, IDB, IsDB, World Bank Group, and PPIAF). She also specializes in the drafting, review, and negotiation of contractual arrangements between various principals, including consortium agreements, tendering documents, concession agreements/ BOT contract, power purchase agreements (PPA), EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and project finance documentations.
