Evando M. Achdiat

Prior to joining AYMP, Evando worked as a corporate lawyer in multiple prominent law firms in Jakarta.

Evando has been focusing his practice on banking & finance, corporate M&A, and capital markets.

He has been directly involved in advising offshore and onshore banks with respect to the granting of loan facilities both bilateral and syndicated to Indonesian borrowers. His financing transaction experiences covers both corporate and project finance. Primary responsibilities are assisting clients in drafting and negotiating facility agreement (mainly APLMA standard form) and security documents (including structuring intercreditor and security sharing arrangement).

Notable finance transactions include represented three state-owned banks on the granting of IDR3.96 trillion (approx. USD240 million) syndicated facilities for refinancing of the operations of Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran toll road, spanning approximately 14.19 km.

In the corporate practice, Evando advised multinational companies in cross-border M&A transaction, global corporate restructuring, and foreign investment. 

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Universitas Diponegoro. During his college life, he was actively involved in international mooting, namely the International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition (IHL). He was also an active member of Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA).

Evando is a licensed advocate of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI).
